The Sims is turning 25, and Electronic Arts is throwing a massive party! From its humble beginnings as a *SimCity* spin-off to the life-simulation powerhouse it is today, *The Sims* has touched countless lives. To celebrate this milestone, get ready for a month of festivities!
What's The Sims Planning for Its 25th Birthday?
Get ready for 25 days of free gifts! That's right, EA is giving away a different free gift each day for 25 days. But you'll need to log in daily to claim your prize—each gift is only available for a single day. This massive celebration runs through the end of February 2025 and includes updates, rereleases, events, and brand-new content across the entire *Sims* franchise.
*The Sims Mobile* is also joining the party, offering two free gifts to players who log in during its birthday week, starting March 4th. And for the ultimate *Sims* experience, EA has partnered with Spotify to create a playlist featuring iconic songs from throughout the franchise's history.
It's a Blast from the Past!
*The Sims FreePlay* is taking us on a nostalgic trip back to the 2000s! Celebrate 25 years of *The Sims* with content that evokes the era of flip phones, frosted tips, and velour tracksuits. Two new live events, "The One with the Coffee Shop" and "Reality Island," offer a fun blast from the past. The Social Town update adds new homes, a helicopter, and a museum filled with *FreePlay* history to explore.
