Kuro Games' hit open-world RPG, Wuthering Waves, has received a significant update: Version 1.4, titled "When the Night Knocks." This update plunges players into a world of mystery and illusion, introducing new characters, weapons, storylines, and events.
The update introduces two new Resonators: the enigmatic and alluring five-star Camellya, and the adorable yet fiery four-star Lumi. Lumi becomes a permanent addition to the Afterglow Coral Store, while Camellya is a limited-time character available during Phase I of the "End of the Lost Trailer" event.
"When the Night Knocks" features the Somnium Labyrinth, a revamped rogue-like adventure within the Somnoire: Illusive Realms. This challenging realm presents players with difficult choices, warning of impending darkness should they fail.
New weapons also arrive: the five-star Red Spring (Phase I), and the four-star Somnoire Anchor. Phase II adds two more powerful weapons: Stringmaster and Verity's Handle. A new weapon transmogrification feature, allowing players to alter the appearance of select weapons (including the Somnoire Anchor and Formless Series), adds further customization options.
A new companion story, "Forking Path Among the Stars," expands on Camellya's narrative, featuring her exploring the greenhouse at Black Shores, alongside new Echoes, including the Phantom: Inferno Rider.
