The festive Jingle Hells mode in Black Ops 6 Zombies offers a holiday makeover of Liberty Falls, but it also significantly alters weapon progression and item acquisition. This guide details how to upgrade weapons, obtain Ammo Mods, and secure equipment and Support.
Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells
Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies experience, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades rely on Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity tiers (color-coded). Using an Aether Tool upgrades your weapon to that tier (e.g., a Purple/Legendary Aether Tool grants Legendary rarity). Here's how to acquire them:
- Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The higher the round, the higher the rarity of the dropped Aether Tool.
- Bank Vault: Loot Keys open safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools.
- S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, aiming for the highest reward tier, offers a chance to obtain Aether Tools.
- Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity.
- Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons acquired from these sources increase in rarity as rounds progress.
Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells
Currently, Cryo Freeze is the only available Ammo Mod in Jingle Hells. It drops as a consumable item. The primary method of acquiring it is through Holiday Presents, which offer random loot with higher rarity chances in later rounds. Holiday Presents are obtained via:
- Enemy Kills: They occasionally drop upon enemy elimination.
- Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up yields either a "Nice" (multiple Holiday Presents) or "Naughty" (increased vermin enemies) outcome.
- S.A.M. Machine: Its appearance in Jingle Hells spawns several Holiday Presents nearby.
Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells
The Workbench's absence means no Salvage-based crafting. However, equipment and Support items (Chopper Gunners, etc.) can still be acquired:
- Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemies.
- Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
- Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these enemies.
- S.A.M. Trials: May reward equipment and Support.
- Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: Contain a chance of equipment and Support.
