BioWare Officially Shelves Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC

Remastered Dragon Age Collection Remains a Possibility

Veilguard DLC Unlikely; BioWare Focused on Mass Effect 5According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't be developing any DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, stating the game is "complete." With the Veilguard launch behind them, BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.

While specific reasons for forgoing Veilguard DLC weren't detailed, Epler did address the prospect of a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged significant challenges. The original Dragon Age trilogy utilized EA's proprietary game engines, making a remaster more complex than the Mass Effect project. Epler concluded, "It's not as straightforward as Mass Effect, but we cherish the original games. Never say never."
