Freedom Wars Remastered: Maximizing Combat Item Loadouts
Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables, are often limited. This guide addresses both equipping more and acquiring additional Combat Items.
Equipping More Combat Items
Initially, you're restricted to one Combat Item. To increase this, you need Entitlements:
- Access the "Window On Liberty" in your cell.
- Select "Claim Entitlements."
- Navigate to the "Equipment" section.
- Find the "One-Item Permit" (far right). Subsequent permits, acquired sequentially, increase your maximum Combat Item loadout to four.
These permits become available quickly; by CODE level 3, you should own all four. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack. For example, equipping a Frag Grenade uses all currently held grenades. Note that your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item for strategic use.
Acquiring More Combat Items
After progressing through the initial missions, you'll unlock "The Warren" HUB area. Here, you'll find "Zakka," a shop offering:
- Munitions: Direct damage-dealing Combat Items.
- Medical Supplies: Healing, ailment-curing, and ammo-refilling items.
Combat Items are purchased individually, costing Entitlement Points. While Operations sometimes reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to time investment and potential consumption exceeding gains. Consider donating excess resources to afford bulk purchases, especially for high-demand items like Medkits.
