Despite the cancellation of the live-action Driver TV series, Ubisoft confirms continued development of other Driver franchise projects. Let's delve into Ubisoft's statement.
Ubisoft Remains Active on Future Driver Projects

Ubisoft has officially confirmed to Game File the cancellation of the live-action Driver series adaptation. Initially announced in 2021 for exclusive streaming on Binge.com, the project aimed to "bring our games to life in new and exciting ways," according to Ubisoft Film & Television head Danielle Kreinik.
The collaboration ended due to the closure of Hotrod Tanner LLC, a movie-related subsidiary (named after the Driver protagonist), in January. A Ubisoft spokesperson stated, "We are no longer moving forward with our partnership with Binge for a Driver series."
However, Ubisoft assures fans that "actively working on other exciting projects related to the franchise" are underway and promises future announcements. Specific details remain undisclosed, so stay tuned for further Driver news!
