Lara Croft, the iconic Tomb Raider, is raiding her way into Naraka: Bladepoint! NetEase's martial arts battle royale recently unveiled its ambitious third-anniversary plans, including a thrilling collaboration with the legendary Tomb Raider franchise. This exciting announcement was made during a recent livestream showcasing new content, such as the brand-new map, Perdoria, and the upcoming Tomb Raider crossover.
The Tomb Raider series, a cornerstone of gaming since 1996, boasts a vast universe spanning comics and even a forthcoming Netflix animated series. Lara Croft's enduring popularity, solidified by her iconic dual-wielding style, has made her a leading female video game protagonist. This popularity has already led to collaborations with other major titles, including Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Fortnite, and Final Fantasy XV.
In Naraka: Bladepoint, Lara's adventurous spirit will manifest as a skin for Matari, the agile Silver Crow assassin. While a sneak peek of the skin remains elusive, past collaborations suggest it will encompass a complete cosmetic overhaul, including a new outfit, hairstyle, and various accessories.

The third-anniversary celebration promises to be massive. Beyond the Tomb Raider event, players can anticipate the arrival of Perdoria, the first new map in almost two years. Launching July 2nd, Perdoria promises unique challenges, secrets, and gameplay mechanics unlike anything seen before. The festivities continue with a planned crossover with CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, though a precise release date is yet to be revealed.
While the Tomb Raider collaboration is undoubtedly cause for celebration, Naraka: Bladepoint will be ending Xbox One support by the end of August. However, players can rest assured that all progress and earned cosmetics will remain linked to their Xbox accounts, allowing a seamless transition to Xbox Series X/S or PC via Xbox.
