However, he stressed the significant time and resources such projects would require. The immediate focus, he explained, is reintroducing classic titles to a new audience on modern platforms. The success of this SVC Chaos re-release, fueled by community enthusiasm and the visibility of EVO tournaments, paves the way for future collaborations.
Matsumoto also revealed years of discussions with Marvel before the recent re-release of classic Marvel titles became a reality. The renewed interest, driven by both fans and developers, is a testament to the enduring appeal of these legacy fighting games.
