While finding a Prismatic Shard requires luck and effort, knowing where to look significantly improves your chances. Here are the potential locations:
- Mines (Bottom Levels): A 0.05% chance of dropping from monsters.
- Fish Ponds (Rainbow Trout): A 0.09% chance from the chum bucket (requires at least 9 Rainbow Trout).
- Skull Cavern: A 0.1% chance from Serpents, Mummies, Wilderness Golems, and Iridium Golems (after Combat Level 10).
- Omni Geodes/Mystery Boxes: A 0.4% chance of appearing inside.
- Golden Mystery Boxes: A 0.79% chance of appearing inside.
- Iridium Nodes (Skull Cavern, Volcano Dungeon, Quarry): A 3.5% chance of dropping.
- Treasure Chests (Skull Cavern): Approximately a 3.8% chance.
- Mystic Nodes (Skull Cavern, Quarry, Mines - floors 100+): A 25% chance of dropping.
