A limited-time event in *The Sims 4* has players on a scavenger hunt, searching for hidden items. One particularly tricky task involves locating the Special Time Capsule during the "Blast from the Past" event. Here's how to find it before time runs out.
How To Find the Special Time Capsule in *The Sims 4* Blast from the Past Event
The "Blast from the Past" event begins by introducing you to a mysterious visitor, Emit. You'll gather clues by watching TV, checking social media, and chatting with other Sims. The search for the Special Time Capsule is where things get interesting.
The only clue you receive is to search for rocks near parks. Having already met Emit at the Willow Creek park, that's a logical starting point. Examine the rocks in the area; one will contain what looks like diamonds. Interact with it to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Note that you might need to check several rocks before finding the right one.

Opening the Special Time Capsule reveals an IOU note – a bit of a letdown after the search! Read the note and return to Emit to unlock further quests within the "Blast from the Past" event.

How Long Is The Sims 4 Blast from the Past Event?
With multiple quests, you'll have ample time to complete the "Blast from the Past" event. It runs until March 18, 2025, giving you plenty of time to find the Special Time Capsule and other items. However, completing all four weeks is recommended to earn the best rewards:
