Geoff Keighley, producer of Gamescom Opening Night Live 2024, confirmed the absence of Hollow Knight: Silksong from the event, dashing the hopes of many fans.
Initial excitement arose when Keighley's initial Gamescom ONL lineup included a "+ More" section, fueling speculation about the long-awaited Silksong update. However, Keighley later clarified on Twitter (X) that the highly anticipated sequel would not be featured.
