SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6
The initial Wintervestigation Quest directs players to SGT. Winter to discuss his investigation. These quests involve collaborating with Noir to uncover clues and discover new NPCs across the Chapter 6 map.
The quest marker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountaintop near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game concert location.
Talking to SGT. Winter in Fortnite
SGT. Winter, marked by a speech bubble icon, patrols near the plane wreckage. Interact with him; the menu offers a Holo Twister Assault Rifle, Blizzard Grenade, or conversation options.
Select the magnifying glass icon to initiate dialogue about his investigation. He'll provide a new mission, sending you to Noir in Seaport City. Completing the dialogue awards 25,000 XP.
Surviving and Looting at SGT. Winter's Location
Reaching SGT. Winter can be challenging due to the area's popularity. Consider waiting a few days for the initial rush to subside. Alternatively, immediately purchase items from SGT. Winter using gold bars—the Epic Holo Twister Rifle is a strong early-game weapon.
Utilize the plane wreckage for cover and prioritize grabbing nearby chests for a tactical advantage. Many players might land with only pickaxes, making early engagement manageable with a good team and strategy.
