Reverse Horror

Devolver Digital's Android game library boasts a stellar lineup, including GRIS, Reigns: Her Majesty, Downwell, and Reigns: Game of Thrones, to name a few. Excitingly, another exceptional title is joining the roster: Carrion, the acclaimed "reverse-horror" game, is coming to mobile devices.

Initially released for PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One in July 2020, Carrion offers a unique take on the horror genre. Developed by Phobia Game Studio and published by Devolver Digital, the mobile version launches October 31st.

Carrion Mobile: A Reverse Horror Experience

In Carrion, you embody a creature straight from a nightmare – and you are the horror. Controlling a mysterious, red, tentacled blob, you slither, claw, and devour everything in your path.

The game's "reverse horror" designation stems from its premise: instead of surviving terror, you are the terror. Imprisoned within a high-security Relith Science research lab, this amorphous being – The Monster – has escaped its containment. After enduring experimentation and DNA manipulation, it's seeking revenge and freedom.

As The Monster, you'll consume scientists, security guards, and anyone else who dares stand in your way. You'll navigate vents, smash through doors, and use your tentacles to hunt. Carrion's mobile iteration mirrors the PC version, offering a thrilling experience of chaos and destruction.

Progress through the game unlocks upgrades, enabling you to breach barricades and grow in size. Check out the gameplay trailer below:
