Restored: TikTok Re-emerges in U.S. Market

UPDATE (1/19/25): TikTok has resumed operations in the U.S. after a brief outage.

In an X/Twitter statement, TikTok confirmed service restoration, attributing it to agreements with service providers and assurances from President Trump. The statement expressed gratitude for the President's intervention, highlighting the protection of over 170 million American users and 7 million small businesses. TikTok further emphasized this action as a victory for free speech and against arbitrary censorship, pledging continued collaboration with President Trump on a lasting solution to maintain its U.S. presence.
