Patch 7.16 of *Final Fantasy XIV* brings exciting new quests and stylish cosmetics! Here's how to snag the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.
Getting the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV
Unlocking the Pose of the Unbound requires completing the quest "Imposing Views." Find the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5) to begin.
However, "Imposing Views" is locked behind "Picking Up the Torch." To unlock this prerequisite, you must complete all five role quests. This means reaching level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class, then completing their respective role quests in Tulliyollal. Only after finishing these will "Picking Up the Torch" and subsequently "Imposing Views" become available.
"Imposing Views" itself is a relatively simple quest. You'll visit the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi several times, engage in some combat, and that's it! Upon completion, the Pose of the Unbound emote is yours.
To use your new emote, simply type "/unbound" or "/poseoftheunbound" into the chat box and press Enter. Prepare for a delightfully silly, Jojo-inspired pose!
