Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and City Safari Events Announced!
Get ready, Pokémon GO Trainers! Two exciting events are coming your way: Pokémon GO Tour: Unova and Pokémon GO City Safari.
Pokémon GO Tour: Unova (February 21-23, 2025)
This in-person event will take place in Los Angeles, California (Rose Bowl Stadium) and New Taipei City, Taiwan (Metropolitan Park). Inspired by Pokémon Black, White, Black 2, and White 2, the event features themed habitats (Winter Caverns, Spring Soiree, Summer Vacations, Autumn Masquerade) filled with Unova region Pokémon.
Expect Shiny encounters galore! Shiny Meloetta awaits via Masterwork Research, with Shiny Sigilyph, Bouffalant, and others hatching from eggs. Shiny Pikachu sporting unique hats can also be found via Field Research. Legendary Pokémon Reshiram and Zekrom will be Five-Star Raid bosses, while Druddigon (Three-Star Raids) and Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott (One-Star Raids) will have increased Shiny rates.
Tickets are on sale now at a discounted price ($25 USD in Los Angeles, $630 NT in New Taipei). Add-ons provide extra bonuses like 5,000 XP per raid. The event runs 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time (PST and GMT+8, respectively), with booths and team lounges offering merchandise and relaxation. A global event, Pokémon GO Tour: Unova - Global, will run March 1-2 for free.
Pokémon GO City Safari (December 7-8, 2024)
This city-wide adventure will be held in Hong Kong and São Paulo, Brazil, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time. Join Professor Willow and Eevee to solve a Pokémon mystery!
Receive a special explorer hat-wearing Eevee at the start. Evolving it (25 Eevee Candy needed) keeps the hat! Complete the Eevee Explorers Expedition for a second hatted Eevee. Encounter Galarian Slowpoke, Unown P, Clamperl, and more in the wild, with Oricorio (Pom-Pom and Sensu Styles), Swablu, and Skiddo hatching from eggs. Location-specific Pokémon will also appear.
Maps will be provided, and Pikachu or Eevee visors will be given out (while supplies last). Tickets are R$45 in São Paulo and $10 USD in Hong Kong, with add-ons available.
