Path of Exile 2's Ascendancy Classes: A Comprehensive Guide
While Path of Exile 2 is in Early Access, players are already exploring the depth of its character customization. Though not subclasses in the traditional sense, Ascendancies provide significant specializations with unique abilities. This guide details how to unlock and utilize these powerful options.
Unlocking Ascendancies
To unlock Ascendancy Classes, players must complete a Trial of Ascendancy. Currently, the Early Access version offers two: the Act 2 Trial of the Sekhemas and the Act 3 Trial of Chaos. Completing either unlocks Ascendancy selection and rewards two passive Ascendancy Points. The earlier Act 2 trial is recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.
