The LEGO Nintendo collaborations have already yielded some fantastic sets, like last year's dynamic Mario and Yoshi set and the first-ever LEGO Legend of Zelda offering. However, the LEGO Nintendo universe feels incomplete. While we have a wealth of Mario sets (including Donkey Kong) and several Animal Crossing options, many other iconic Nintendo franchises remain untapped.

Personally, I believe Metroid offers the most exciting potential. With Metroid Prime 4 on the horizon, the timing seems perfect for incredible LEGO builds. Additionally, I'd love to see official LEGO Pokémon sets, beyond the existing MEGA constructions. However, given Mattel's Pokémon licensing agreement, this might be less likely.
