Celebrating Monster Hunter's 20th anniversary, Capcom and Bandai have teamed up to release the "Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition"! This special edition features designs based on the iconic Rathalos and Zinogre.
Monster Hunter and Digimon Unite for a Special Anniversary Collaboration
The Digimon COLOR Monster Hunter 20th Edition is a limited-release version of the popular handheld digital pet device. Each device, themed after either Rathalos or Zinogre, is priced at 7,700 Yen (approximately $53.2 USD), excluding shipping and other potential fees.
These collectible V-Pets boast a vibrant color LCD screen, utilize UV printing technology, and include a rechargeable battery. Familiar features return, including customizable background designs. New additions include a "Cold Mode" to temporarily pause monster growth and stats, and a backup system to save your progress.
Pre-Orders Open in Japan – Global Release Uncertain
Pre-orders are currently open through Bandai's official Japanese online store. However, these are Japan-only releases, meaning international buyers should expect additional costs for shipping and import fees.
Currently, there's no official announcement regarding a global release. Demand is extremely high, with the devices reportedly selling out within hours of the announcement.
