Disney Speedstorm welcomes another iconic animated character: Maui!
This demi-god, inspired by Polynesian mythology and a breakout star from the hit movie Moana, joins the racing roster. While Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson won't be voicing him, Maui boasts impressive abilities.
Disney Speedstorm already features a diverse cast, from Monsters, Inc. to Pirates of the Caribbean, making it a dream game for Disney fans. But there's always room for more, and with the recent release of Moana 2, Maui's arrival in Season 11, Part One, is perfectly timed.
Maui's signature move, "Hero to All," involves a magical fishing hook that sends opponents flying. A fully charged version transforms him into a hawk for a powerful counter-attack.
Disney Speedstorm benefits both fans and Disney's marketing efforts, keeping beloved characters in the spotlight. However, given Moana 2's success, perhaps less promotion is needed.
Maui is expected to rank highly on Disney Speedstorm tier lists. His ability to disrupt opponents and gain a significant speed advantage makes him a formidable competitor.
