Marvel Rivals Welcomes Invisible Woman and More in Season 1
Get ready for a major update to Marvel Rivals! On January 10th at 1 AM PST, Season 1: Eternal Darkness Falls launches, bringing with it the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, new maps, a fresh game mode, and a new battle pass.
A recent gameplay video showcases Invisible Woman's abilities. She's a Strategist class character, capable of both damaging opponents and healing allies simultaneously. Her kit includes a knockback to control distance, invisibility for short bursts, a double jump for enhanced mobility, and a protective shield for teammates. Her ultimate ability creates a zone of invisibility, disrupting ranged attacks.
Mister Fantastic also makes his debut in Season 1, demonstrating a unique blend of Duelist and Vanguard capabilities in another gameplay trailer. His abilities include stretching attacks and a defensive buff increasing his durability.
While the arrival of Human Torch and The Thing will follow in a mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks after launch (full seasons are planned for roughly three months), the absence of Blade, despite data leaks suggesting his inclusion, is a slight disappointment for some fans. Dracula will serve as the primary antagonist for Season 1.
Despite this, the anticipation for Invisible Woman, Mister Fantastic, the new content, and future updates remains high amongst the Marvel Rivals community. The addition of the Fantastic Four significantly expands the game's roster and promises exciting new gameplay experiences.
