The trailer also features Zach Galifianakis as Jumba and Billy Magnussen as Pleakley, showcasing a unique twist: Jumba and Pleakley appear initially disguised as their human actors. A brief flash, however, reveals Pleakley's true alien form. The trailer faithfully recreates cherished scenes from the original film, including Stitch's arrival resembling a falling star, his canine disguise at the animal shelter, and the heartwarming "Ohana means family" moment.

Lilo & Stitch hits theaters on May 23, 2025, joining the ranks of Disney's live-action remakes. Its release follows closely on the heels of the live-action Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, premiering March 21st.
