Get ready for a Legendary Flight in Pokémon Go! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are making their Dynamax debuts.
From January 20th to February 3rd, these powerful avian Pokémon will appear in Dynamax form during special Max Battle events. This exciting addition to the recently introduced Max Battles offers a unique chance to encounter these legendary birds in their giant Dynamax forms.
The Max Monday event schedule is as follows:
- January 20th: Dynamax Articuno
- January 27th: Dynamax Zapdos
- February 3rd: Dynamax Moltres
Each Dynamax Legendary bird will dominate Max Battles at all PokéStops on its designated Max Monday. Following their initial appearance, they'll continue to appear in Max Battles at select PokéStops for a week.
These five-star Max Battles offer a challenging encounter, and you might even be lucky enough to find a Shiny version! Remember, these Shiny versions are only available during the specified timeframes.
Beyond the legendary trio, other Pokémon will also participate in the Max Battles:
- January 20th - 27th: Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny
- January 27th - February 3rd: Bulbasaur, Cryogonal, and Grookey
- February 3rd onwards: Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble
