The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access in Thailand and Canada! Fans in these regions can download the game immediately from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Early access players receive Mature, a powerful Orochi Clan member, for their team.
This retro RPG-inspired mobile title features iconic characters from the King of Fighters series in 5v5 battles. Build your team, strategize your formations, and experience the nostalgic action. Netmarble has confirmed that progress made during early access will carry over to the full release.
While KoF AFK faces competition and a departure from the original series' style (unlike the now-defunct King of Fighters Allstar with its crossovers), the Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites and the guaranteed Mature recruitment might entice fans. Whether it will win back disillusioned players remains to be seen, but it offers a more casual fighting game experience.
