Nintendo's Summer 2024 Magazine features a heartwarming interview with Splatoon's musical icons! Callie and Marie of the Squid Sisters, Pearl and Marina of Off The Hook, and Deep Cut (Shiver, Frye, and Big Man) reveal candid moments from their shared experiences.

The six-page spread, titled "The Great Big Three-Group Summit," covers collaborations, festival performances, and behind-the-scenes stories. A highlight is Callie's account of Deep Cut's tour of Splatlands.

"The natural beauty of Scorch Gorge was breathtaking!" Callie exclaimed, reminiscing about the trip. Shiver's response, "I hope you appreciated it. We know where the Splatlands shine better than anyone," adds a touch of playful pride. Marie's suggestion for another group hangout, possibly including a long-overdue teatime with Off The Hook, adds to the friendly atmosphere. Pearl and Frye even plan a rematch of their karaoke battle!

Meanwhile, Splatoon 3's Patch Ver. 8.1.0, released July 17th, introduces multiplayer improvements, addressing weapon balance and gameplay smoothness. Further balance adjustments are planned for the season's end. The update notes mention fixes to prevent unintended signals and visual obstructions caused by scattered weapons and gear.
