PC gamers are enjoying a surge of console ports arriving on Steam and other launchers. This is fantastic news for those who previously felt left out without a console, blurring the lines between PC and console gaming, particularly with Microsoft's efforts to bring its extensive game library to both platforms. PC Game Pass has significantly boosted this trend, making many once console-exclusive franchises now available on PC (even if it takes some time for porting).
PC players have a lot to anticipate in 2025 and beyond, with highly anticipated ports, promising indie releases, and AAA titles that will shine on high-end systems. Below is a preview of PC games expected by year's end, including titles without confirmed release dates. Note that the release dates primarily reflect North American releases.

PC Games Coming Out In January 2025
Spider-Man, Sniper Elite, and More
Despite a slower opening week, January 2025 boasts an impressive lineup. Freedom Wars escapes its PS Vita origins with a remaster, offering a solid option until Monster Hunter Wilds arrives. Assetto Corsa EVO promises to be a top racing sim, continuing the series' strong track record. Dynasty Warriors: Origins needs to significantly improve upon DW9, and its visual style change is encouraging. Tales of Graces f Remastered brings a superb JRPG combat system to a wider modern audience.
January 2025 saves its best for last, with Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Sniper Elite: Resistance both launching on the 30th. While the former has been on PS5, the PC port is highly anticipated, eventually including mod support. Sniper Elite: Resistance should be another reliable entry in Rebellion's series.
