Once a hero reaches 6 stars, you can unlock their fourth skill by obtaining duplicate "free gift" heroes or gold-star versions. For top-tier S-grade heroes, you will need specific duplicates of the same tier to unlock their fifth skill. Most heroes begin with only one active skill. To unlock additional skills (Skill 2 through 4), you require duplicates or Instructor cards matching the hero's rarity. After maxing out star levels, further duplicates grant access to higher-tier skills—S-tier heroes need even more duplicates to unlock Skill 5. After a skill is unlocked, you can upgrade it using skill points, which are earned by disenchanting extra hero copies—so hold onto duplicates until you're ready to spend those points.
Hero Refinement
"Refinement" allows you to spend Gold to improve hero attributes—such as Strength, Intelligence, and others. You choose which stats have the chance to gain bonuses, though the process involves some randomness: concentrating on a smaller number of primary stats improves your odds of receiving larger boosts. Refinement is most effective when used on your best heroes (prioritize S-tier ones first), since they benefit more from these enhancements. It is especially useful for heroes whose abilities scale with certain attributes—for example, Intelligence is crucial for support-focused heroes.
Upgrade Sequence to Push Hero Power
