To celebrate the release of the Gothic 1 Remake demo, "Nyras Prologue," THQ Nordic and Alkimia Interactive have unveiled a captivating new trailer. Unlike the original Gothic, where players embodied the Nameless Hero, this remake lets you experience the story through the eyes of Nyras, a prisoner fighting for survival in the unforgiving world of Khorinis.
Released during the Steam Next Fest, the demo has already shattered concurrent player records for the entire Gothic series:

The "Nyras Prologue" showcases the remake's stunning visuals, enhanced animations, and a revamped combat system powered by Unreal Engine 5. While the demo offers a glimpse into this enhanced experience, it naturally doesn't fully capture the expansive freedom and intricate RPG mechanics awaiting players in the complete game.
