Genshin Impact Version 5.4: Introducing Yumemizuki Mizuki, a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst
Yumemizuki Mizuki, a new 5-Star Anemo character hailing from Inazuma, is set to debut in Genshin Impact's Version 5.4. Following the conclusion of the Natlan storyline in Version 5.3, this update offers a smaller-scale Inazuma-focused adventure, centered around a yokai-themed Flagship Event with Yae Miko playing a prominent role.
Mizuki's arrival as a playable character, heavily rumored since late 2024, has been confirmed. Beta testing for Version 5.4 revealed her as a 5-Star Anemo Catalyst, essentially a premium version of Sucrose with added healing capabilities. This versatile role makes her a valuable asset to many team compositions, particularly Taser teams.
While her official reveal on the Genshin Impact Twitter account was slightly delayed, the drip marketing campaign unveiled Mizuki's dual identity: a psychologist and the majority owner of Aisa Bathhouse. Her established friendship with Yae Miko strongly suggests her introduction will coincide with the Version 5.4 Flagship Event. A dedicated Story Quest for Mizuki is also anticipated.
Yumemizuki Mizuki Details:
- Title: Embrace of Enchanting Dreams
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Vision: Anemo
- Weapon: Catalyst
- Constellation: Tapirus Somniator
Version 5.4's Event Banners will feature Mizuki and Wriothesley in the first half, followed by Furina and Sigewinne in the second. Importantly, Mizuki will join the Standard Banner after Version 5.4, prompting collectors to prioritize obtaining her Signature Weapon.
Version 5.4 presents a more concise update compared to the content-rich Version 5.3. It includes only one new character, one Story Quest, and no new Artifact Domain or map expansion. Consequently, the Primogem acquisition will be lower than average. Players are advised to conserve their Lantern Rite rewards for Version 5.4, especially if they aim to acquire highly sought-after Fontaine characters like Furina or Wriothesley.
