Genshin Impact players eagerly awaiting the 5.4 update in a week can currently exploit a surprising trick to effortlessly defeat even the toughest bosses, regardless of their massive health pools. Ironically, this exploit centers around the Hydro Traveler, a character often deemed one of the game's weakest DPS options.
The exploit's mechanics are surprisingly straightforward. Using the Hydro Traveler's Elemental Burst in conjunction with Xiao Lanterns (obtained during the Lantern Rite Festival) is the key. By strategically placing a sufficient number of Xiao Lanterns near a boss and then activating the Elemental Burst, the boss's health plummets dramatically.
This occurs because the Elemental Burst's AoE damage is significantly amplified when interacting with objects. Deploying a hundred lanterns, for instance, can result in damage reaching into the millions.
While this exploit is likely to be patched in a future update, it currently provides a remarkably easy way to overcome challenging boss encounters.
