Garena's Delta Force: A Global Tactical FPS Launch
Get ready for the global release of Delta Force, courtesy of Garena! Previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, this tactical first-person shooter is launching a PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024, with mobile open beta following in 2025.
Developed initially by NovaLogic and later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios (creators of COD Mobile), Delta Force is now being brought to global audiences by Garena. The game boasts cross-progression between PC and mobile platforms, with a planned 2025 launch in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What Awaits in Garena's Delta Force?
Delta Force offers two thrilling game modes:
- Warfare: Engage in large-scale 32v32 battles across land, sea, and air, utilizing four-operator squads.
- Operations: Experience high-stakes, three-operator extraction shooter missions. Scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and fight to reach the extraction point before time runs out. This mode features bosses, restricted areas, special missions, and a rare MandelBrick item that unlocks exclusive skins (but reveals your location to other players!).
Loot acquired can be used in future matches or exchanged for in-game currency. Players can also defeat opponents to acquire their gear.
A Nostalgic Return?
Garena and TiMi's Delta Force features sharp, realistic graphics and the tactical gameplay the series is renowned for. Fans of the original 1998 release will find much to appreciate.
