Final Fantasy XIV's Free Login Campaign Returns!
Final Fantasy XIV is offering a free login campaign from January 9th to February 6th, 2025, allowing eligible players with inactive accounts to enjoy four consecutive days of free gameplay. This campaign is available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
The campaign, which began January 9th at 3:00 AM Eastern Time and ends February 6th at 9:59 AM Eastern Time, provides a great opportunity for lapsed players to rejoin the adventure. The four-day timer begins upon logging into the game launcher.
Eligibility requires a purchased and registered Final Fantasy XIV account that has been inactive for at least 30 days prior to the campaign start. Accounts suspended or cancelled due to Terms of Service violations are ineligible. Players can verify their eligibility status on the Mog Station.
This free period coincides with the ongoing Heavensturn event (until January 16th), offering a minion reward to all participants, and the upcoming release of Patch 7.16 on January 21st, concluding the Dawntrail Role Quest side series. With Patches 7.2 and 7.3 planned for 2025, this free login campaign provides a perfect chance to catch up on the Dawntrail expansion's side quests and prepare for future content. Producer and director Naoki Yoshida recently hinted at the direction of the Dawntrail main storyline in his New Year's message, sparking much player discussion.
