Wuthering Waves' Dream Patrols offer engaging combat challenges. While most are straightforward, some, like "Knight in a Storm," prove tricky due to their unique mechanics. This guide helps you conquer this particular patrol and obtain all its valuable rewards.
The "Knight in a Storm" Dream Patrol, located in the Shores of Last Breath area (Fagaceae Peninsula, east of Ragunna City), is easily identified by the crossed swords icon on your map, visible after activating the region's Resonance Nexus. The quickest route involves teleporting to the nearby Tacet Field (Sonata set drop location for Carlotta builds). Access to this area requires completing the "Where Wind Returns to Celestial Realms" quest.
The Knight itself is a standard Rinascita enemy. The challenge lies in fulfilling the objective conditions:
- Maintain Battle Rank S for over 10 seconds: Achieve this through perfect dodges, parries, and ability usage (including Intro/Outro skills).
- Perform 3 Interrupting Counterattacks: Successfully parry the Knight's attacks when its weapon is enhanced.
- Immobilize the enemy with Resonance Liberation DMG: Stun the Knight using your character's ultimate ability (depleting the white bar below its health).
Countering the Enhanced Weapon:
The Knight enhances its weapon by summoning three swords, selecting one for the buff. During this enhancement, it performs aerial lunge attacks—your prime counterattack opportunity. When the parry indicators above the Knight align, perform a parry attack to successfully interrupt. Repeat this three times to complete this objective. Carlotta players can effectively parry using jump attacks or rifle shots (during Resonance Liberation or when Molded Crystal stacks are available). Successfully completing these objectives will ensure you secure all chests and resources.
