Disney Dreamlight Valley: Aladdin Quest Guide & Rewards

The free *Tales of Agrabah* update for **Disney Dreamlight Valley** finally brought Aladdin and Princess Jasmine to the magical valley, letting players welcome them into their worlds. This guide covers all of Aladdin's Friendship Path quests and rewards, showing you how to unlock them.

Aladdin’s Friendship Quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Aladdin's arrival kicks off with a simple request: a photo with his Magic Carpet. Equip the Carpet as a companion from your wardrobe and snap a selfie to complete the "Carpet Diem" quest, starting your Agrabah adventure.

Good As Gold (Level 2 Friendship)

Leveling up Aladdin through gifting unlocks "Good As Gold." Aladdin needs your help casing Scrooge McDuck's shop to test his new security system. First, chat with Scrooge, then photograph: the vault door, both staircases (aim for wide shots encompassing both requirements). Afterwards, discuss the next phase with Aladdin. He suggests dark, sporty attire; while optional, nighttime enhances the espionage feel.

Once dressed, talk to Aladdin. He'll instruct you to press the large red button (left of the counter) activating Scrooge's system. The shop transforms, lights and buttons appearing. Experiment to learn button functions. A suggested approach: start with the center button, then the back right wall to extinguish two upper lights. Next, use the button above the right staircase to reposition the spotlight, then the left staircase's button to turn off the remaining light above the center. Downstairs, press the right counter button to move the spotlight, followed by the left display counter button to turn off the light above the initial button. Press the left counter button again, then speak to Aladdin before the vault.

Coins will appear; collect all four by gliding and interacting. Give them to Aladdin. More coins escaped—nine more to collect throughout the valley. Once gathered, give them to Aladdin inside his house. Take a photo with Aladdin and the gold, then listen to his conversation with Scrooge. Finally, talk to Aladdin to complete the quest.

Bring Your Own Carpet (Level 4 Friendship)

Aladdin wants a Dreamlight Magic Carpet. Talk to Merlin; he directs you to the Dreamlight Library for three books (Fabric Enchantment, Carpet Weaving, Flying Technique). Give them to Aladdin. He'll then send you to Minnie for supplies: 4 Dream Shards, 4 Blue Hydrangeas (Dazzle Beach), 4 Purple Bell Flowers (Forest of Valor), 25 Fiber (Kristoff's Stall or crafting). Give these to Aladdin. Once crafted, interact with the carpet to make it fly. Follow Aladdin's guided tour, gliding under the Plaza banner, across the Forest of Valor, down to Dazzle Beach, through Peaceful Meadow, back to Dazzle Beach, across the bridge, and finally to the pier's end. (Use the quest tracker if you get lost.) Remember, the Dreamlight Magic Carpet functions like other gliders.

After reaching the pier, talk to Aladdin to complete the quest.

All That Glitters (Level 7 Friendship)

Aladdin's Level 7 quest, "All That Glitters," involves creating a bouquet for Jasmine. Gather 4 yellow and 6 purple flowers. After giving them to Aladdin, he'll reveal a desire for a more meaningful gift, leading to a treasure hunt using Scrooge's scroll. The scroll's clue, "To begin at the mermaid’s isle," leads you to Ariel's island.

Find the Golden Sun Piece, insert it into the tall rock, and then find the broken pillar pieces (one buried, one in a barrel). Interact with the Pillar, adding the pieces. Nothing happens. Talk to Aladdin, then take a photo of the Pillar.

Consult Maui, Ariel, and Rapunzel; they're unhelpful. Return to Ariel's island, where Jasmine reveals the Pillar's rotating pieces require a specific order. The Golden Sun Piece's clue ("From the tiniest seed, water creates blooms as tall as golden towers") guides you: water, seed, flower. Collect the treasure that appears. Give it to Aladdin, then talk to him again to receive the golden tea set and complete the quest.
