Data mining from this week's Season 5 Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals the addition of four brand-new consumables, exclusively for the upcoming Infernal Hordes endgame mode. This roguelite-style challenge pits players against relentless waves of enemies, offering a unique and rewarding experience.
These consumables, designed to enhance gameplay within Infernal Hordes, are:
- Antipathy: A rare anointment boosting resistance.
- Blackblood: A common anointment enhancing a random core stat.
- Vitriol: A magical anointment increasing damage over time.
- Triune Anointment Cache: A new cache containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials.
Intriguingly, recipes for these anointments have also been discovered, suggesting crafting will play a role in obtaining them. However, details regarding acquisition methods, usage costs, and crafting material requirements remain scarce pending further PTR exploration. The PTR runs until July 2nd, so expect more information to surface soon.
Infernal Hordes itself promises intense 90-second enemy waves, followed by a choice of three modifiers to adjust the difficulty and subsequent rewards.
