However, navigating these events, especially the Novon Chip system, can be tricky. This guide simplifies the process of obtaining and utilizing Novon Chips.
Acquiring Novon Chips
Novon Chips aren't directly collected; they're crafted. Here's how:
- Gather Material Boxes: Complete missions within the Resume Offensive event to earn Novon Chip Material Boxes. These are the crucial starting point.
- Bring Boxes to Operation Matches: Equip the Material Boxes in your inventory before entering Operation matches.
- Locate Assembly Machines: Find "Chip Assembly Machines" on the Operation map. Interact with them to convert Material Boxes into Novon Chips.
- Secure Your Chips: Successfully extract from the Operation match to keep your newly crafted Novon Chips.
- Unlock Safes: Back in the Black Gate lobby, use your Chips in the event interface to unlock safe passwords. Each safe requires multiple digits, unlocked sequentially using your Chips. Locating and opening these safes yields high-tier loot and additional event rewards.
