Cyberpunk 2077's Fortnite Debut: Why No Male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited the arrival of Cyberpunk 2077 items, a crossover many fans anticipated. The release was met with excitement, but also some disappointment—the absence of the male version of protagonist V. Speculation ran rampant, with fans analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The truth, however, is far less complex.

Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's lore expert and the decision-maker, explained the omission. The item pack was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a practical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference for the female character model.

Therefore, the missing male V wasn't a deliberate exclusion, but a result of logistical constraints. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin appearance, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
