The Pokémon GO Fashion Week event is back, featuring returning costumed Pokémon and the debut of costumed Minccino and Cinccino! This stylish duo sports rhinestone glasses and adorable bows.
When to Catch Costumed Minccino:
The Fashion Week event, running from January 10th to 19th, 2025, marks the debut of Costume Minccino and Cinccino. Importantly, Costume Minccino has a shiny variant, while Costume Cinccino does not. The event also brings back costumed Butterfree, Dragonite, Diglett, Blitzle, Kirlia, Shinx, and various Furfrou forms.
How to Obtain Costume Minccino:
Unlike previous events, obtaining Costume Minccino is limited to two methods:
One-Star Raids:
Costume Minccino appears in One-Star Raids, easily soloable. However, One-Star Raids also feature Costume Shinx and Furfrou, requiring some searching to find a Minccino raid.
Paid Timed Research:
A $5 USD (or equivalent) ticket grants access to a Timed Research with XP, Stardust, a new avatar pose, and guaranteed Costume Minccino encounters.
Field Research:
While event-themed Pokémon encounters are available through Field Research Tasks, Niantic's blog doesn't specify if Costume Minccino is included. It's likely to be less common than the Raid and Paid Research methods.
Obtaining Costume Cinccino:
To get Costume Cinccino, evolve your Costume Minccino using 50 candies and a Unova Stone.
