Players can recruit and battle with iconic Disney characters across multiple worlds, each presenting unique challenges blending battle, action, and rhythm elements. The game allows for character creation and customization, offering both auto-battler gameplay and opportunities for direct control. The narrative centers around combating strange programs that have infiltrated the pixelated Disney worlds.
A Retro Revival
This isn't GungHo's first foray into large-franchise crossover games. Given Disney's extensive library, Disney Pixel RPG promises an even broader range of characters than previous projects.
