Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Finally Sprouts: January 28th Launch Confirmed
After a brief delay, the enchanting puzzle game Botany Manor is finally blooming on PlayStation consoles. Initially slated for a December 17th, 2024 release, the PS4 and PS5 versions have been polished and are now set to launch on January 28th, 2025.
Developed by Balloon Studios and published by Whitethorn Games, Botany Manor charmed players on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC earlier in 2024 with its relaxing gameplay and magical plant-growing mechanics in the picturesque English countryside. The delay, announced shortly before the original release date, was attributed to the developers' commitment to delivering the best possible player experience.
While the new release date has been confirmed, a PlayStation Store page is yet to appear, meaning pre-orders aren't currently available. The game is expected to retail at $24.99, consistent with its pricing on other platforms, and will remain a one-time purchase free of microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is not anticipated for the PlayStation release.

Botany Manor initially garnered widespread critical acclaim, boasting a strong "Strong" rating on OpenCritic (83/100, 92% recommendation). Its cozy atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and rewarding exploration captivated critics, solidifying its reputation as a top-tier puzzle game of 2024. With the PlayStation release, Botany Manor will finally be available on all initially announced platforms. While Balloon Studios remains tight-lipped about their next project, January 28th will also see the PlayStation Store welcome other notable titles including Cuisineer, Eternal Strands, and The Son of Madness.
