Once upon a time, DC's Batman enjoyed a seemingly endless stream of new video games. The Dark Knight reigned supreme, and Rocksteady's acclaimed series arguably revolutionized the superhero game genre, a legacy felt even today.
Lately, however, Batman's gaming presence has dwindled. A true standalone Batman adventure hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, with no immediate successor on the horizon. While comic book fans eagerly anticipate numerous upcoming superhero titles, those seeking to don the cowl will have to delve into the past to discover the truly great Batman games.

He appeared in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, though Rocksteady's offering isn't strictly a Batman game. The Arkhamverse, however, received a VR addition.
