Bandai Namco to Publish Rebel Wolves' Dark Fantasy Action RPG, Dawnwalker

Bandai Namco Entertainment, the publisher behind Elden Ring, has partnered with Rebel Wolves, a Polish studio comprised of former Witcher 3 developers, for the global release of their debut title, Dawnwalker. This action RPG, slated for a 2025 launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox, marks a significant addition to Bandai Namco's portfolio.

A Story-Driven AAA Experience
Dawnwalker is a story-rich AAA action RPG set in a dark fantasy medieval Europe, designed for mature audiences. Further details about the game's narrative and gameplay mechanics are promised in the coming months. Founded in 2022, Rebel Wolves aims to elevate the RPG genre with a compelling narrative focus.
"Rebel Wolves, a studio built on experience and fresh ideas, is the perfect partner for Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe," commented Rebel Wolves' chief publishing officer, Tomasz Tinc. "Their commitment to narrative-driven RPGs aligns perfectly with our vision, and we’re thrilled to collaborate on bringing the Dawnwalker saga to players worldwide."
Bandai Namco's VP of business development, Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, echoed this sentiment, highlighting Dawnwalker as a key addition to their Western market strategy.

A Witcher 3 Legacy
Leading the charge at Rebel Wolves is Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, a CD Projekt Red veteran and lead quest designer on The Witcher 3, who serves as creative director. Co-founder and narrative director Jakub Szamalek, also a CD Projekt Red alumnus with over nine years of experience, confirmed Dawnwalker as a new IP. The game's scope is anticipated to be comparable to The Witcher 3's Blood and Wine expansion, with a non-linear storyline offering replayability and diverse choices.
Tomaszkiewicz emphasized the team's commitment to delivering a rich experience with significant player agency and replay value. He expressed excitement about unveiling the team's progress to players.
