Alchemy Stars: Offline Version Set to Launch After Four Years

Alchemy Stars is shutting down its online services on January 24th, 2025, but not before offering players a unique offline experience. Tencent and Level Infinite announced the transition, allowing players to replay the story and retain their progress.

Shutdown Date and Offline Transition:

The game's online servers will cease operation on January 24th, 2025. A crucial maintenance period is scheduled for January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, to deploy version 1.43.0, introducing a local data save feature.

Saving Your Progress:

Updating to version 1.43.0 is essential. A data save button will appear on the main menu, allowing players to save their progress. Multiple saves are permitted, but this must be done before January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Unsaved data will be lost permanently after this deadline.

The Offline Edition:

The offline version will be a static experience; no further updates will be released. Deleting the app will render it unrecoverable, even through reinstallation. However, the offline mode will still allow players to explore the story, upgrade units, and interact with their saved data.

Final Thoughts:

While a complete shutdown would have been disappointing, the offline version provides a lasting legacy for Alchemy Stars. Download the game from the Google Play Store before its online services end.
