Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title
Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025 event, Tides of Annihilation is a captivating single-player action-adventure game boasting intense combat, a gripping narrative, and a breathtaking setting. The debut trailer (see below) showcases the game's unique blend of elements.
The game plunges players into a modern-day London ravaged by otherworldly forces. Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, exploring iconic London landmarks, summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to aid in combat against enemies inspired by Arthurian mythos. Prepare for epic battles against colossal skyscraper-sized bosses!
Developed by the Chengdu, China-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), Tides of Annihilation represents the culmination of the efforts of over 100 developers with extensive experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia.
Lead Game Producer Kun Fu states, "Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony's State of Play is a tremendous achievement for the Eclipse Glow team. This is only the beginning. We've crafted a world that reimagines Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic narrative set in a familiar yet strange environment, challenging true gamers and pushing the boundaries of the genre."

Tides of Annihilation is a narrative-driven single-player experience set in a distorted, otherworldly-invaded version of modern London. As Gwendolyn, humanity's last hope, players embark on a legendary quest through iconic London locations to solve a mystery that will decide the fate of reality. Fight alongside summonable spectral knights, facing hordes of enemies, memorable bosses, and vertically challenging levels featuring gigantic roaming knights.
