Social football manager game
The Open League is a football (soccer) manager simulation that integrates deeply with Discord. Core features include:
***Full 90-minute football matches are simulated each night, with live play-by-play commentary streamed directly in our Discord server.
***Manage your football team in 30-team servers, organized across three competitive leagues. The top three clubs earn promotion, while the bottom three face relegation. Each season spans three weeks.
***During the off-season, football clubs attend youth camp to scout and recruit future star players. This weekend event lets managers use scouting reports to bid on prospects. Many of TOL's legendary teams were built through successful youth camp campaigns.
***Managers can also arrange friendly matches against others. The off-season is a popular time for organizing tournaments with rival clubs.
***At season's end, football managers retain their squads. Player skills evolve and decline over time, making squad management essential for long-term success.
***Player transfers are negotiated directly with other managers on Discord before being finalized in the TOL app. Savvy negotiators excel in The Open League.
***TOL uses friendly Discord bots to assist with team management. For instance, you can DM your assistant Chris to issue press releases about your latest victory to all other clubs!
The Open League supports multiple time zones. Currently, matches are scheduled for 7:00 PM PST, EST, and GMT.
