Beast Hides are dropped by wildlife such as moose and boar. These creatures appear randomly in designated map areas, generally avoiding both the player and nearby robots. Their white icons on the mini-map distinguish them from the black icons of machines. Farming wildlife is less straightforward than farming machines due to their less frequent spawns; strategic searching is key.
Moose and boar are exclusively found in the game's ruined city and forest zones. Their behavior (flight or attack) depends on the player's level relative to theirs; higher-level animals may become aggressive even at a distance.
