Embarking on an adventure in Wuthering Waves, players will encounter Botim, who stands south of the Rinascita-Ragunna-Thessaleo Fells northern Resonance Beacon. Botim shares that he is tasked with managing an ancestral site, home to a mysterious "Terminal" passed down through his family. He explains that the towers within this area are plagued by shadowy monsters that cause chaos before vanishing. Botim offers valuable rewards to those willing to tackle this challenge, initiating the Shadow of the Past Quest in Wuthering Waves.
Thorncrown Rises Three Towers Locations In Wuthering Waves
In Thorncrown Rises, players must locate three distinct towers, each contributing to completing the Shadow of the Past Quest, which is divided into three sub-Quests:
- Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise: Found in the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise: Located in the southern part of Thorncrown Rises.
- Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise: Situated in the southwestern part of Thorncrown Rises.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise
To reach the Resounding Rise Tower in the northeastern part of Thorncrown Rises, players should speak with Itzel, who stands east of the Tower. Here's how to explore and complete the Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise sub-Quest:
- Enter the painting at the end of the hallway to begin your journey.
- Follow the Quest marker to track down the Abyssal Mercator.
- Defeat the Abyssal Mercator and claim the northern Basic Supply chest.
- Proceed to the western room to secure another Supply chest.
- Navigate to the eastern room and step into the second painting.
- Battle the Abyssal Mercator once again.
- Clear out enemies in both the eastern and western rooms to collect the Supply chests.
- Head north and follow the Quest marker to pursue the Abyssal Mercator again.
- Defeat the Abyssal Mercator for the final time.
- Interact with the painting behind the Abyssal Mercator to continue the pursuit.
- Open the chest at the end of the hallway to halt the enemy fire.
- Confront the enemy blocking your path.
To complete the sub-Quest, arrange the paintings in the following sequence:
- Move the top left painting to the bottom right display.
- Place the painting from behind the top left display on the bottom left display.
- Shift the top right painting to the top left display.
- Take the painting from behind the bottom right display and place it on the top right display.
- Claim the Premium Supply chest.
After arranging the paintings, interact with the final painting, defeat the Abyssal Mercator one last time, and talk to Itzel to claim the Tidal Supply chest. This action will weaken one of the barriers at the Command Rise Tower.
Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise
After leaving the Resounding Rise Tower, head southeast to the Twilight Rise Tower and engage with Insula to gain entry. Inside, follow the Quest marker until you realize you're stuck in a loop. Insula will appear, guiding you to:
- Investigate three marked spots for clues.
- Converse with Insula.
- Enter the secret passageway beneath the elevator.
- Defeat the Abyssal Patricius.
- Collect the Supply chest and continue your journey.
- Engage the Abyssal Patricius for the final showdown.
- Speak with Insula once more.
- Secure the Tidal Supply chest.
Completing these steps will finish the Shadow of the Towers: Twilight Rise Quest and further weaken the barriers at the Command Rise Tower.
Shadow of the Towers: Command Rise
Upon completing the first two parts of the Shadow of the Past Quest, the Shadow of the Past: Command Rise Tower sub-Quest will automatically start. To proceed, players should:
- Travel to the camp northeast of the Command Rise Tower and speak with Insula and Itzel.
- Use the Wingray located northwest of the beach to fly to the Command Rise Tower.
- Enter the Tower and follow the Quest markers deeper into the structure.
- Collect the Supply chest to the west of the moving libraries.
- Use the Grapple to ascend.
- Retrieve the Basic Supply chest between the jars, then defeat enemies on the opposite balcony to claim another Supply chest.
- Follow the Quest marker to confront the Abyssal Patricius.
- Secure the chest and continue climbing using the Grapple.
As you ascend, thoroughly explore the Tower for numerous Supply chests and two Sonance Caskets: Ragunna. Utilize the chandelier's mechanics to reach the top of the Tower. Upon arrival, you'll find Liel deceased. After speaking with Insula and Itzel, use the portal behind them to reach the Abyssal Patricius's location. Defeat it to obtain the Call of the Abyss Rectifier and a Premium Supply chest.
Exiting the Command Rise Tower via the portal and conversing with Insula and Itzel will grant players the King of Thessaleo Achievement and the Shadow of the Tower Achievement in Wuthering Waves.
