Superliminal a puzzle game about escaping a dream is coming to mobile

by Noah Feb 23,2025

Superliminal, the acclaimed indie puzzle game, is making its way to mobile devices this July! Prepare to escape a surreal, recurring dream through clever use of forced perspective.

This first-person puzzle adventure, launching July 30th on the App Store and Google Play, allows pre-registration now. Originally released on Steam in 2020 to overwhelmingly positive reviews, the mobile version will include controller support.

The story begins with a late-night TV ad for Dr. Pierce's dream therapy. What starts as a simple viewing quickly turns into an involuntary participation in a bizarre experiment. Trapped in a repeating dream, players must solve a series of increasingly challenging puzzles to break free.

Guided (somewhat) by the helpful Dr. Glenn Pierce and his less-than-helpful AI assistant, players must master the art of forced perspective. Manipulate object sizes, creating platforms and removing obstacles to find your way out of each mind-bending room. Later puzzles introduce trompe-l'œil illusions, demanding precise angles for solutions.

Enjoy a 25% launch discount for the first two weeks, after which the game will be priced at $7.99. A free trial is available before committing to the full purchase. For more information, visit Pillow Castle's website or follow them on Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
