Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering a full health restoration without relying on consumables. Here's how to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early access to a bed is crucial. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, choose either the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl) questline. Completing their initial tasks grants you access to a bed. Radovan's location in Tachov offers a closer starting point. After finishing the smithing tutorial with Radovan, you can sleep in the room adjacent to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to heal.
Campsite Alternatives
When immediate access to your bed is impossible, numerous campsites are scattered throughout the game world. Some may be occupied by bandits, requiring prior engagement. Regardless of occupancy, interacting with the bedrolls allows for rest, though comfort levels are lower than a proper bed.
Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort, as discovery may lead to arrest.
