Marvel Rivals Season 1 unleashes new characters, maps, and game modes, plus a fresh challenge set rewarding players with freebies, including a Thor skin. This guide focuses on triggering Recursive Destruction in Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The initial "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This involves destroying Dracula-influenced objects that then reappear in their original state. However, not all destructible objects will work.
To identify eligible targets, utilize Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad button). Only red-highlighted objects trigger Recursive Destruction.
How to Trigger Recursive Destruction in Midtown
This challenge is exclusive to Quick Match (Midtown). Initially, no red-highlighted objects will be available. Wait for the first checkpoint; two buildings will then appear, ready for destruction and subsequent reappearance.
During the match, prioritize destroying these buildings. The reappearance might be missed in the action, but several hits should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, focus on subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
